Jeppe Carlsen was a puzzle designer for Limbo and remains at Playdead as a lead gameplay designer. With his spare time, he has created IGF 2013 nominated platformer 140, showing he can do even more with a polychromatic palette. Learning the music the shapes move to is key to avoiding traps and beating bosses, but not much else is known for this PC game releasing this year.
Carlsen wrote in to say he has been working on 140 for 2 years personally. Jakob Schmid has joined to work on sound, and Niels Fyrst and Andreas Peitersen work on the visuals. Together they seem to be crafting something rhythmically enchanting for the eyes, ears, and maybe even the soul.
