Placing seventh in Game Jolt’s Glitch Jam competition, detuned is a short experimental game which employs glitch effects as part of its gameplay. You begin your adventure inside an empty room, and while making your way up a flight of stairs you will discover that some of its steps are missing.
The wall provides a hint on how to proceed further, cryptically prodding you to examine your mouse wheel for a way to turn (or ‘tune’) the glitched platform into a solid floor. Trackpad users are out of luck though, because the developers did not include an alternate control option for emulating the wheel. Since detuned takes about ten minutes to play through, you could always borrow a mouse from someone for a short while to try it out.
You can play detuned now in your browser, or download the fullscreen desktop version from Game Jolt.
