Twine, a tool for making web-based text games, is known for enabling people with little to no programming skills to create games. Since it makes choose-your-own-adventure style text games, the Twine engine has been used by minorities as a way to get their stories out there. Until now it has only been available to Windows and Mac users, but Twine 2.0 is a browser application, making it usable on Linux, tablets, and anything else with a modern browser.
Twine 2.0 remains free and open source. More information can be found on the Twine and Twine 2.0 web sites.
