Sphaera takes you to a wide open field, letting you wander as a blob-like being that’s out to meet and collect the various animals who live there. Aiming to be a relaxing experience, it only wants you to take in the sights and creatures who live in this place, finding your own meaning as you exist among them.
Despite being a sentient blob, you can do a little bit more than just take in animals and search for new critters, as you also have a camera that will let you take pictures of the things you find and places you end up. A day/night cycle also offers some different kinds of lighting for your shots so you can work on your penguin photography, if that’s what you want to get up to. Otherwise, feel free to just wander among the animals and become part of the soothing space Sphaera creates.
Sphaera is available for $9.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Chillia’s Art, you can head to the developer’s site or follow them on YouTube.
