Messing with time is a bad idea. Paradoxes and butterfly effects are not exactly desired things. For one father, these boundaries mean nothing in the face of saving his daughter.
Players will be treated to both perspectives as time-weaving father John and Alice, the innocent daughter, in time-bending adventure game Clocker. will be a challenging journey riddled with puzzles and hardships, but it will also tell a tale of enduring familial love.
To bring this pair back to one another, you’ll need to assist them as they help one another. John is trapped in a monochromatic realm that’s frozen in time, but he can still help with some matters. You can use him to interact with the frozen people to solve puzzles, setting up solutions that can clear paths for Alice. Taking control of Alice, players will be thrust into a lively and bright world, but one with many mysterious problems (on top of her missing father). Each will help the other through solving their puzzles, bringing them closer together.
Just make sure you don’t mess with time much more than you need to when you’re controlling John. Controlling people from outside of time can have unintended repercussions, changing events for the worse. You want the world you give to Alice to be the one she remembers, right? You’ll be able to move these people (and sometimes animals) in order to get ahead. You may even need to permit some breaking and entering by a thief so you can get into some buildings. Just try to fix any damage you may have done once you’re finished.
Clocker promises to be a thought-provoking story of the problems with messing with time, while also exploring the love between father and daughter. With the sensitive subject of time and the cruelness of it, can you strive for a happy ending for these two characters?
