I think we can all agree that SkateBIRD is full of cute bird skaters. But what about those little straw and cardboard parks they ride in? SO DANG CUTE.
Your big friend doesn’t seem to have much time for skateboarding any more. Too much work, not enough time for their bird pal. That’s a real shame, as it can get pretty lonely for a little feathered friend. Maybe you can take up that skateboarding passion and put it to work, though. I mean, Splinter learned how to use martial arts from his cage, so maybe you picked up some skating skills? After trying to skate for a few minutes through these delightful little tracks made of household items, it sure looks like it. Skaters can make a park out of anything if they put their minds to it. Being a bird skater is no different.
As you get better at skating and really explore the house (who knew you could do tricks off of clocks, staplers, and household electronics?), you’ll start to draw some other bird friends to your place. I mean, a skateboarding bird is pretty much the coolest thing ever, so I’m not surprised that all the other birds want to see what you’re up to. Maybe you’ll even help your tall friend realize how much they’re missing so that they find more time to spend with you again.
SkateBIRD does some delightful things with making a skate park for a bird-sized skater, as well as with the neat things a bird could do that a human skateboarder couldn’t. It’s just ridiculously charming, and with its character and perspective, makes for a compelling, unique skateboarding game well worth checking out.
SkateBIRD will be made available today on Steam.
