Forests are for Trees takes you on a soothing, kaleidoscopic walk through a wood haunted by colors and spectrums.
You’re free to wander this place as you see fit, and how you take this journey will color the lands in front of you. The colors within each tree represent an entire shift in visuals, altering the colors of the world around you. Each tree also offers a glimpse into its colored realm, creating a shimmering sea of different realities and shades. It’s striking to behold, and encourages you to simply walk through and see what you can create.
Forests are for Trees allows the player to create their own brilliant landscapes by walking and turning the camera just right, looking out into a seemingly-endless sea of varied worlds, all contained within the branches of the trees you’re passing by. It’s a lovely effect that encourages you to be playful with it, seeing the various styles for yourself while also trying to create your own tapestry based on exactly how you look through the place. It serves to remind us of the beauty of the places around us that we may have overlooked, encouraging we look at our own lives from a different angle.
