Think of the Children wants you to keep a bunch of kids happy and breathing while juggling your adult tasks.
If you have been involved with children in any capacity in your life, you know that they can put themselves in mortal danger in seconds no matter where you put them. It is just in their nature to seek the abyss, for some reason. Think of the Children plays upon that, putting multiple players in various life arenas like the beach, the mall, the kitchen, a picnic, and others, then tasking them with keeping their kids out of danger while completing various tasks.
As you find your luggage, cook supper, or try to shop, your children will steadily seek out a means to escape this mortal coil. Deadly berries, irate kangaroos, open flames, and poisonous chemicals are all lying around these locales, and you have to stop your kids from finding these items on top of getting your chores done. Your kids are persistent in their self-destruction, though, so expect to rush from task to task if you hope to keep the tykes alive.
Think of the Children lets you work in one-to-four player teams, design and customize your own family how you like it, and play around with various streaming features. Just, you know, don’t take your eyes off your own kids to play it. They’re probably under the sink grabbing a drink of bleach as we speak.
Think of the Children is available for various prices from the Humble Store, Steam, Nintendo Switch eShop, PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store.
