A bell on a windswept hill. The splash of your footsteps through shallow waters. The hum of mysterious obelisks buried beneath the snow. All will become song as you explore Morphê.
Morphê gives players alpine, desert, and snowy landscapes to meander through, finding sources of sounds and music throughout them. Whether these things be the sounds they make as they walk or brush against something, or through found cassettes or the songs of lost obelisks, they all contribute to the single song of your explorations throughout peaceful worlds.
If you find yourself getting lost in the soothing embrace of Morphê‘s ambient music, you can record it straight from the game to your computer to take along with you on your real travels as well. You can also bring your own music inside of this place as well, adding your own shape to the music of the land.
Morphê aims to help you let go of the overload of information and noise around you, teaching you to tune your ear to the gentle sounds that get buried by the everyday. It’s an invitation to attune yourself to the places you take for granted, and let yourself join in the harmony of unintentional music that surrounds us.
Morphê is available for $3.99 on Itch.io and Steam.
