Ditch your normal bedtime story and pick up an interactive point and click adventure in the form of She and the Light Bearer.
Expect the full story time experience: daring adventure, mysteries to solve, and lovable characters. You’ll also get drawn in with its bright, colorful art style and lovely story. Don’t be completely fooled by the cheerful and upbeat attitude the game portrays, though.
Players are assuming the role of the light bearer, an innocent little firefly with a large task of finding ‘The Mother.’ The big issue is that The Mother is in a deep slumber, and protected by the forest itself – so, getting to her is going to be one tricky challenge. You’ll have to prove to the forest that you are worthy of its trust by rising to the forests’ trials like riddles or puzzles.
There is always darkness lurking in a good fairy tale, though, and She and the Light Bearer seems particularly ominous. Tales of the sacrifice and horror lie beneath the game’s charming music and pretty visuals, so expect a little bit of fearful business during this fairy story.
