BadCupid puts a pair of characters on a date, be they Abraham Lincoln, a monster, or Venus, having their personalities create random flirtations as you bet on whether they’ll find love together.
BadCupid is a ridiculous dating game that throws random couples together, seeing if they stick or can’t stand one another. Each character has their own designed A.I. personality that is used to generate romantic actions and flirty remarks, and there are multiple characters drawing from history, games, and more that can get pulled into these silly dates. Who will go out with one another, and how they’ll do it, is unknown on each run, resulting in some fun match-ups.
BadCupid draws from Salty Bet‘s betting system to bring you into the fun of watching how these dates play out. You get to wager on whether you feel the date will turn out or not, based on intuition, character knowledge, or guessing which you feel would be funnier. It’s not real betting, either, so if you’re strapped for currency, you’ll be given a bit more.
BadCupid is looking to grow its database of bachelors and bachelorettes, so you can also submit new characters to the game to add even more romantic opportunities (or silliness) to it. Finally, you can see if your own fanfic romances come together or not.
BadCupid is playable (when it’s live) on Mixer.
