You won’t have to search for your missing dead dog alone in HorrorVale, as you can bring along mummy cheerleaders, blade-wielding vampires, and nerdy shapechangers.
Alice’s dog, Scruffy, has gone missing in the undead lands of HorrorVale, and you need to help her find the little scamp. To do that, you’ll need to comb the underworld looking for him, dealing with all of the new, oddly-aggressive fiends and monsters that have started roaming the land. Luckily, drunk zombies, hostile chairs, and showering ghosts can all be tackled with turn-based combat.
With its bathing phantoms and over-indulging undead, HorrorVale looks to offer a lighthearted, fun experience that focuses on who you meet as well as who you fight. There are many different silly monsters you can meet throughout the game, as well as eighteen different creatures who can join your quest to find Scruffy. Expect to spend time with mummies, vampires, ghosts, lycanthropes, and more, each offering useful abilities in a fight.
