FPS Project Warlock lets you create your character how you want it, customizing how you shoot your way castles, pyramids, and graveyards.
Project Warlock has you helping a lone spellcaster eradicate evil, working through time and space as you blast every single creature that’s ever so much as had an unkind thought. Taking you over sixty levels that span the arctic, machine bases, desert sands, castles, and Hell itself, it aims to offer a wild ride through countless locales.
With unique locations come dozens of unique, vicious monsters. Project Warlock brings an array of gruesome creatures who mean to shoot or slash you to bits. They’ll come at you in groups and in a hurry, too, so you’ll need to strafe and stay on the move, classic FPS-style, to keep from getting torn up. You’ve got your own arsenal of guns and magic, though, so turning the tide, even with so many monsters dogging you, is very doable.
If your arsenal doesn’t seem to be cutting it, you can customize your character in a variety of ways that can increase damage output, healing, health, and more, giving you an edge for your specific play style. These upgrades can only be applied between levels, though, so you have to make it out alive if you want to get tougher.
Project Warlock is available for $12 on Steam.
I’m not a big fan of FPS. But this game might change that. Great animations. Impressive soundtrack. Just wow!
