You’ve got letters to deliver, but some cute critters aim to put you to sleep on the job instead in the relentlessly adorable ROGO.
In ROGO, you’ve got to thread your little carrier through several procedurally-generated stages of folks who’re waiting patiently for the post to arrive. They’re not really particular about what they get from the mail so long as they get a letter, luckily, so you can feel free to hurl massive amounts of letters at them until they’re happy.
For whatever reason, animals are out to make you feel sleepy as you play ROGO. I think they just want to curl up and nap with you, which is beautiful, really. Still, as anyone with a pet and a job knows, you can’t get any work done once you’ve snuggled in with a cute animal, so you need to dodge the balls of sleep they’re hurling your way so you can finish your job.
ROGO features a little shop where you can spend some of your mail points on useful power-ups for the unique character you’ve chosen to play as (five kind souls are all playable). You just might need these for the game’s bosses, as these tough creatures expect you to deliver mail while also trying to make you fall asleep. This may be confusing, but that’s just video games, baby. Roll with it.
ROGO is available for $1.99 on Steam.
