You’re given five characters to get through Unnecessary Evil, and may have to use their bodies to deal with the traps in your path. Don’t expect their help in the next level if you do that, though.
The off-brand naming of the stars in Unnecessary Evil is more than enough to give it a shot. Who can resist the charm of Noruto and Bonny-Chan? These characters must make their way through a deadly dungeon, but not all of them may see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Glark, Steve, Bonny-chan, Noruto and Hodur. These are your heroes and, just like any decent hero, they are prepared to lay their life on the line (or spiked pitfall) to see the leader to the exit. As long as Glark reaches the exit, the game may continue.
Unfortunately, if you were a poor planner and Glark is the ONLY one to reach the exit, your journey may become a difficult, or even impossible one. Characters that do not make it to the exit, either through death or your own poor planning, will not be joining you on the next horrific puzzle. It’s in your best interest to keep your sacrifices to a bare minimum in order to see yourself to a happy-hand-holding ending. But if you have a vendetta against any of these characters, who’s to stop you from making sure they have an untimely spill into a spike trap?
