Donut County, the delightfully-absurd puzzler of using an ever-growing hole to swallow up everyone’s stuff, is sliding onto some new systems.
Xbox One and Nintendo Switch releases round out the systems Donut County is available on. So, if you’ve been holding out for them, you’re in luck! It’s now officially time for you to explore life as a raccoon (who can control a portable hole).
Donut County has players helping BK the raccoon in their quest to drop all of their friends’ stuff into holes. This will net them some fabulous prizes for some reason, although you’ll have to answer for trashing your buddies’ things. That’s getting a bit ahead of things, as you’ll need to figure out how the hole works, first. Not that it’s complicated, as you just have to devour objects in steadily-increasing sizes to grow the hole.
There’s more to Donut County than making things fall in a hole, as we found when we talked to developer Ben Esposito. Combining stuff in holes adds further complexity to your puzzle-solving, and there’s a charming story about raccoon pals as well. Everything you need for an evening of silly puzzles and sillier friendships.
Donut County is available for $12.99 on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and Steam, or $4.99 on the App Store.
