You are but a Little Firefly out in the vastness of the forest, meeting living trees, cheerful flower creatures, and sinister grasping shadows in fairytale point & click adventure She and the Light Bearer.
She and the Light Bearer takes you on a charming journey through the woods, following a tiny firefly as it strives to meet the Mother within the forest’s heart. The woods can be a wild place, though, filled with all manner of creatures both nice and cruel. By solving their puzzles, listening to their stories, and helping them out where you can, you may find your way to what you seek.
She and the Light Bearer uses poetry, an adorable art style, and soothing music to bring you into a childhood fairytale mindset. In doing so, it doesn’t seek to tell a childish tale, though, facing some bleaker elements with a powerful optimism, yet a respect for the seriousness of these matters. It can get a bit dark for a cute little firefly, is what I’m saying. That only makes its bright parts shine harder, though.
She and the Light Bearer had charmed us previously with its fairytale story and adorable woodland beings, and its full release has only cemented its power to dazzle with its world and colorful forest friends.
She and the Light Bearer is available now on Steam.
