Fear & Hunger is for the strong of will and stomach. You will bear witness to horrible things and be tested to how far you will push to survive in this terrifying and hopeless journey.

Dismember your enemies in turn-based combat and delve into the depths of the ancient forest, trying to survive long enough to see what lurks in its deepest corners.
You will be able to choose from four playable characters that have their own unique abilities and weaknesses in Fear & Hunger. You’ll be able to recruit other party members as well, and have the option to fuse them together. Try to get all the help you can get since the combat system is brutal and unforgiving.
You will be able to take time to develop strategies in the turn-based combat, but don’t let that lack of time-pressure give you a false sense of security. You’ll be able to target certain limbs on the monster, but they can do the same to you and your party members. What’s the use of a warrior with no arms? You’ll need to bring your A game to these battles and be able to know when to choose flight over fight. It’s not about grinding away on these enemies, but about using your tools to clear the fortress as quickly and safely as possible. Some of these tools could even include talking your way out of a battle, using traps, or sniping enemies from afar. You may even want to try praying to a different god. Whatever works, right?
The art and design of Fear & Hunger is both brilliant and unsettling. Using a paint-like style adds a strong artistic value, yet brings a lot of details forth that squeamish players may not enjoy. There are extremely dark themes in this game – you will see what horrible things people will do when they are at their absolute last resort.
Fear & Hunger is scary, stomach-churning, and something you might not be able to tear your eyes from. Will you go on this dark and terrible journey to see how far you can last?
