The gods are massive. Dangerous. And you need to crawl up them and kill them in Praey for the Gods. Also, it’s super cold out.
Finding yourself in a frozen wasteland with only your clothes is kind of a drag. Still, no one is going to help you out, so you’ll need to find food, shelter, and weapons in the snowy world of Praey for the Gods. That means a lot of careful exploring in these striking, but lethal lands, avoiding blizzards and sudden storms. Still, there’s lots of interesting things to be found out there, from tools to ruins that hint at the story of this place.
Little angry minions and creatures may make your life difficult as you wander, but the giant, beastly gods are just a bit worse. They’ll squash you flat without so much as noticing you if you don’t take care. To deal with them, you’ll need to have a great deal of useful items and a love of climbing (and an appreciation for Shadow of the Colossus, in all likelihood). Not that you have to tackle them if you don’t feel ready, as the game lets you deal with these gods when you choose. But you will have to deal with them eventually.
You’re free to climb, glide, or swim through the lands of Praey for the Gods, opening the place up for your curiosity. Just don’t forget how small and insignificant you are here, or your next icy dip will be your last.
Praey for the Gods is available now on Steam Early Access.
