The Kingdom of Ceanarth is a having a rough go of it. Fortunately, some of its defenders can control time, using it to overcome all kinds of nasties in The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines.
As a low-level ambassador, you’ll be looking into a disturbance that seems to be coming from your own stronghold. Except there’s a bunch of nights, skeleton monsters, and spiky traps that mean to cut that trip short. Being the type of person who can throw a sword like a boomerang, you’re probably more than equipped to handle it. If not, you can always find some more gear to equip to make life difficult for your foes.
While boomerang throwing a sword is an impressive party trick, time control is your real power. You can stop time to give yourself a few more seconds to get out of the way of traps, or just casually walk out of an enemy’s sword swing. Not that this power doesn’t have its limits, but it’s still a handy tool to keep the Ambassador alive. Your enemies are kind of persistent, too, and they’re more than happy to squish you if you give them the opportunity.
With time being a central focus of The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines, you can also expect time to be a part of its narrative (with the game exploring two different timelines). Plus, what’s the deal with the trouble emanating from your stronghold, anyway? What kind of kingdom defenders are you a part of? Surely nothing evil is coming from your own organization, right?
The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can grab its demo from Itch.io and GameJolt.
