You sell physical contact in a city where all touch is outlawed, and will find yourself in a troubling position from a new Chief Inspector who means to eradicate intimacy in Do Not Love – Violators Will Be Shot.
A fatal disease that can only be transferred by touch results in Manila being shut off from the world. Physical contact has become a bit of a no-no along with this decision as the city awaits a cure. This results in an opportunity for a certain kind of folk. Jericho is an Intimus – someone who sells human touch – in order to survive their new life within Manila.
Providing much-needed human contact, and making it limited, seems to work for the general population and the people still policing Manila, so Jericho is left alone. It’s technically punishable by death, though, and a new chief inspector means to start enforcing that, which puts Jericho in an awkward position throughout your time in Do Not Love – Violators Will Be Shot. The kind of awkward that leaves you starving.
You need to help Jericho make decisions throughout this visual novel, guiding them through this difficult time. With ten bad endings to only three good ones, making it through this adventure (and finding out if love can still exist in this place) means it’s not going to be easy to come out intact. Still, you’ve got to try.
