You’re the hero in Littlewood, but you don’t quite remember how things went down. In this peaceful village with no threats, you’ll be able to take your time trying to recover those pesky lost memories while making lasting friendships.
You’ll be in charge of every aspect of Littlewood. Building, cooking, crafting, fishing, even recruiting your townsfolk. If you happen upon certain people, you may even rekindle some lost memories. They can cause certain structures to unlock as well. These won’t be free upgrades, though, and you’ll need to have materials to build them.
You can gather all sorts of items depending on what hobby you have taken up. You can gather ore with mining, chop wood, catch bugs, fish, farm – you get the idea. Pretty much anything you want can be foraged and used for something. Crafted to your heart’s content? Sell some wares for currency at the shopping district and, as you become a better merchant, more items will be available to you.
Ready to take on requests? Townsfolk will sometimes posts requests for you to fulfill. Maybe someone wants to live near water or on a hill. Taking on these requests and fulfilling them yields you hearts and unlocks relationships with these characters. Perhaps you will find love, or a new best friend in your quaint little town.
If all of this still leaves you wanting more, there is even a card collecting element. You can collect these cards and battle with your fellow townsfolk and compete in a yearly competition. This game has everything but the kitchen sink (it might even have that too).
Littlewood has an adorable art style that gives off a charming and simplistic vibe, which masks its high level of customization. Players will be sure to find the hours slip away as they build their dream town and feel a sense of community with the unique cast.
Littlewood is projected to release in May 2019, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
