You need to find a partner to take the throne, which can be a real challenge for a bejeweled skeleton seeking their past murderer.
Crown Prince Vitali was supposed to be enjoying his mother’s jubilee. Maybe drinking a bit too much. Maybe dancing a bit too much. Definitely not dying, which is what happened to them in Catacomb Prince. Unlike your average dead person, Vitali came back five years later as a skeleton covered in riches. Which wouldn’t seem so bad, except Vitali isn’t looking to conquer some dusty tombs, but to take the throne. And for that, you need to be wed.
What’s a bachelor skeleton to do? Well, that’s on you, now. You need to help Vitali woo some suitors (of various genders) so that you can take the throne before your parents abdicate it. While you’re busy with this, you’re also going to want to chase down your killer, lest they send your bony form back to the grave yet again. So, you need to juggle your dating life and some detective work at the same time, hopefully ending with someone jailed and someone becoming your partner for royal life.
Catacomb Prince features eleven endings depending on just how well you do at investigating and wooing. It’s a lot for a dead prince to have to handle, but who else gets another chance for revenge AND happiness like this? Plus, being a bejewelled skeleton is kinda rad in and of itself.
