Still, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing now that Light Fairytale‘s first episode has gotten its full release. In it, you’ll be following Haru as he chases his dreams of green fields. Which isn’t exactly a super-complicated dream, normally, except the game takes place in a world where everyone has been forced underground by a cataclysm on the surface. And folks aren’t exactly playing nice in this subterranean realm.
You’ll meet an array of potential pals for Haru to chum around with, like Kuroko, a powerful fighter who loves technology. The two of you will need to work together for a while to take down the eerily realistic enemies you face, using each character’s special abilities to win quickly.
There’s something about the juxtaposition of cute chibi characters and realistic, monstrous creatures that makes this battle seem all the more grim and striking. They just seem so huggable and hopeful, don’t they? You don’t want to let these gun-toting machines hurt them. Hopefully, that energy will push you to do your best as you begin you first steps into Light Fairytale‘s story.
