Meander Forth Pilot: Teak’s Tall Tale revolves around a world in disarray, and a protagonist straight up not having a good time.
In this platformer, you’ll have to take down your enemies and help the protagonist gain some self-worth.
Oscar Teak, the name of our anteater-esque hero, has just been kicked out of his band. On the first day. As if this wasn’t enough, plant life is revolting and his friend is missing. Talk about kicking a guy when he’s down. You will be in charge of taking down this ferocious fauna in a platforming-run-and-gun style game. Complete with giant flower bosses. Ultimately it will be your skill that will decide Oscar’s fate.
One of the biggest draws is the characters and art style. Sporting a cute set of characters (and even monsters at times), the game gives off a cartoon-like vibe while still establishing a sense of self. This iteration of the game is just a taste of what’s to come, and players who like what they see would do well to follow the developers through to a full release.
