Worse Than Death will pit players against monsters that they can’t see, but are very much a threat in this action-adventure game.
You will take control of Holly, the one in charge of dealing with the creepy-crawlies with her excellent stealth and vaulting abilities. In some sequences, you’ll have to dash for your life from something you can’t even see! But it will make its presence known via the lights in a room or eerie sounds. Sometimes all you’ll have to rely on is Holly’s heartbeat, which pounds faster when danger is around as she has quite a good survival instinct. Unfortunately, you can only run for so long, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled as your stamina lowers and you’re dashing and vaulting for your life. Find a hiding spot and pray you don’t get found.
On top of staying alive against invisible monsters, you’ll need to solve some puzzles. Hope you exercised your brain too, because these look like they’ll require some serious thought. With each puzzle solved, you’ll get yourself one step closer to ending this long night and discovering the dark secrets hidden in this small town.
