In this monochromatic sidescroller, you will be tearing through enemies to reach some truly ruthless boss fights. Have you honed your skills enough to take on these towering giants of skill?
In the early access build, you will be able to access 3 different characters, each with their own skills and style. Depending on how you play, you may find your favorite quickly, or you may just be a jack-of-all-trades. You’ll have to really push your skills to master at least one to survive some of the onslaughts of enemies. After all, your job is to purify the forest by clearing ALL the enemies, not just the bosses. It won’t be an easy task, but I’m sure you’re up to it.
It certainty won’t be dull either, as Ashen Forest sports some truly smooth combat that is sure to get your adrenaline going. Taking care to emphasize those devastating blows and you’ll make your enemy feel every bit of pain as you claim victory – which is only the more satisfying as the difficulty climbs.
If you find yourself overcome by the forest and the plague that consumes it, you won’t be completely done for. You’ll be able to use your Salvation to bolster your character’s strength and return to challenge the forest and its evils. Even though you’re starting back from the beginning, at least these boosts will help you on your next run. Assuming the woods don’t kill you again too quickly.
