Mo is pretty handy when repairs are needed, but having to fix the remnants of a bizarre world filled with the ruins of a kingdom of giants might be a bit much.
Minute of Islands follows Mo throughout this wondrous, yet crumbling archipelago filled with striking natural places and stunning lost machinery. Through solving puzzles across the land, you’ll find the few remaining inhabitants and start to work toward rebuilding this place. There’s some other troubles rearing their heads as you work, though, which may make things even more complicated. Still, you’ve got a nifty fixing doodad, so may as well get to work.
The vibrant cartoon style of the game makes for some compelling wandering, though. Reminiscent of Adventure Time, it captures that same sense of excitement and curiosity, but with a tinge of melancholy and darker mystery (which the show also does). It’s quite beautiful even in its ruin, and the fragments of lost civilization simply beg you to keep moving deeper into it to find answers. It’s super cute and has made me super curious about it, in other words.
Minute of Islands offers intriguing sights and puzzles as you work through the lost land of giants, and I’m deeply curious how your tinkering will affect this place. The Omni Switch seems like a neat repair device, but I’m wondering what sorts of things Mo will accidentally awaken with it.
Minute of Islands is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
