Ginseng Hero puts you in the perspective of a beetle with a noble mission, armed only with a sword and a strong will to succeed.
Step aside, A Bug’s Life, as there’s a new adventure with a cast of bugs that is capturing hearts. And slashing at other bugs with swords. Did that happen in the movie? I don’t remember quite this much stabbing, but it did come out a long time ago.
Your mission is to find a cure for a loved one, and it won’t be easy with tons of bug enemies standing in your path. Luckily, you have the sword skills to at least stand a chance in this harsh, miniature world.
You will have to stand tall (well, as tall as a beetle can be) and face off against bugs of all different kinds. You’ll need to use all the tricks you’ve got when taking on these multi-legged baddies, especially the ones who can fly (it’s hard to stab something that just won’t sit still). If you’re gaining confidence in your lesser-foe slaying, you may just survive this journey. That is, if you can take down the 3 bosses that look to stop your progress.
For those unfamiliar with Sokpop Collective, these short & sweet games are the perfect addition to anyone’s libraries. With its hilarious characters and dialogue, coupled with an intricate physics-system, Ginseng Hero is a great game to enjoy a few laughs while perfecting your bug-slaying skills.
