Alchemy Story offers a ton of activities to lose yourself in, as well as an overarching story to connect you with all the townsfolk of a charming setting.
Since alchemy is the name of the game (quite literally), it’s important to get all sorts of ingredients to conjure up potent potions. Whether it be by gardening, fishing, mining, dancing for by-products from your pets, or chopping down trees, you’ll want to keep your shelves stocked to make sure you’re never wanting for that one special ingredient. Some of these activities will even be necessary to upgrade buildings in the village.
What’s a heart-warming farming (alchemy?) sim without its cast? A nasty witch has turned a bunch of the villagers into animal forms, and it’s up to you to lift that curse. Restoring these villagers doesn’t only earn you a new friend, but also unlocks new areas and shops in the village that were previously unavailable. It also creates another person to but all of your alchemy goods when you’re able to set up your own shop in the marketplace.
We’ve covered Alchemy Story in the past because it’s promise has been strong in all its years of development. Now, the full version is released, aiming to warm even the coldest hearts with its charming, cute cast and its fun farming activities. Alchemy Story is an appealing title for farm-sim fans (and even those who just love a heavy dash of cute in their sims). If you want to spend some quality time in an adorable farm-scape, look no further.
Alchemy Story is available now on Steam.
