BIG Digital, the online home for the Brazil’s Independent Games Festival, will take the massive indie event online, bringing many talented devs to you.
Taking place from June 22-25, the festival offers lectures and talks on various aspects of game development, tips and market information for beginning developers, looks at games that are having a positive impact on people, and an array of games by developers from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica and Paraguay. It’s a great deal of stuff that you can check out for free.
There is a longer paid segment of the festival that connects developers with companies for business meetings, which will run you $70 US if you want to take part in it.
The full program of what’s going to go down at the show is forthcoming, so we can’t say what workshops, games, and events you’ll be able to see at the digital show, but given the talented developers we keep seeing from the area, there’ll definitely be a lot of talks worth listening to and games worth checking out.
You can register to attend BIG Digital through the show’s site.
