Krystopia: Nova’s Journey takes you to a magical puzzle-filled world full of adventure, secrets, and adorable reptilian sidekick pals.
This game is a sequel to Krystopia: A Puzzle Journey, but comes with quite a few differences. Nova’s Journey is a top down, point and click inspired puzzle game as opposed to an isometric puzzle game like the previous title. Nova, the main character, has a little reptile-esque sidekick that can be used to get into smaller spaces and help solve puzzles that you, as a human, might be too big to do. You are able to switch easily between these two characters, giving you more perspectives when it comes to solving puzzles and figuring out the mysteries of the land.
This game takes place on the planet of Krystopia, and Nova is a space explorer looking to solve the mystery of the planet. Most of the game looks like a traditional point and click adventure game, although the game itself is more story-driven, guiding you through Nova’s life and journey. Antler Interactive has done very well at bringing stunning visuals to both PC and mobile, and seems to be continuing this trend with Krystopia: Nova’s Journey.
I’ve always been a fan of puzzle games set in far away places, where mystery can come from anywhere. Coupled with amazing visuals and cute sidekicks, Krystopia: Nova’s Journey is a game I’ve been keeping my eye on. I got more of a chance to check out the game at The Big Indie Pitch Digital, where I was once again blown away by the beautiful graphics and amazing puzzles within the game.
Krystopia: Nova’s Journey is coming out soon on PC, Android and iOS, but in the meantime, you can find more information on the developer’s site.
