Shakes on a Plane has you and a handful of friends struggling to seat people, clean up messes, and keep passengers fed and happy throughout their flight.
Up to four players can work together to handle the needs of some airline passengers. To do this, you’ll need to put together special meals, rushing across the cabin to grab the right things to put together to make the dish. Once it’s put together, it’s not just a quick walk back to the passenger, as other people, turbulence, and more can all get in your way, slowing you down. Since we all know just how patient and wonderful airline travelers can be, surely needing to take some extra time won’t be an issue, right?
This game offers more than just similarities to Overcooked on a plane, though. On top of feeding passengers, you’ll need to move unruly people into new seats, clean up and accidents that came from upset stomachs, handle baggage, and bracing for bad turbulence all loan the game a unique feeling. It also takes place in areas with special gimmicks, like being on a UFO, which force you to get more creative with your teamwork.
You may spend most of the time screaming and barking orders at one another, but Shakes on a Plane makes for a silly, high-speed game of keeping passengers happy. Teamwork is your best bet to get through your flights in one piece (good luck flying solo), so you’ll want to do whatever you can to get along with your fellow cabin attendants.
Shakes on a Plane is available now on the Nintendo Switch and Steam.
