In House, the building itself is pulling out all the stops to find ways to kill you and your family. You just need to find some way of surviving its shifting schemes.
A young girl and her family are the unfortunate occupants of an extremely haunted, extremely hostile home that isn’t real keen to have you there. As such, it will possess, haunt, mutate, or impale you however it can, setting up all manner of traps, killers, and other nasty things to bring about your gory end. The house is always watching your behavior, too, and will adapt its plans to what you’re doing to outwit it. You’re not the only one in danger, too, as your family is also at risk.
In this deadly situation, what seems like a good plan? How will you get everyone out alive? Can you? There are several different ways you can tackle the game (which all lead to different endings depending on what you did). You can even opt to just kill your family yourself which…I mean I guess? I feel there’s a better way, but you do you. Maybe try a little harder with the items you find before we decide to decapitate mom and dad, ok?
House looks like a frantic journey through a twisted realm that keeps on surprising you, making for guaranteed chaos each time you try it out. Plus, you’ll definitely be gasping for relief if you somehow manage to get everyone out of this shifting hellhole.
House is available now on itch.io and Steam.
The piano theme in the trailer is a nice reference to Japanese horror classic Hausu (House)
I didn’t know that. How is the movie? I’ve never seen it.
