Dread X Collection: The Hunt has us chasing down all manner of discomforting creatures and hauntings through seven short horror experiences.
Yet again, the Dread X Collection is bringing a variety of scary times from a handful of incredibly talented horror creators. This time, they all have something to do with hunting in some way. maybe you’re shooting at weird monsters. Maybe you’re snapping snazzy pictures of ghosts. Maybe you’re shooting thieves with a crossbow. No matter what, you’re out and on the prowl for something. Hopefully nothing bad will happen to you while you’re at it, though.
A mall has opened with a nasty ghost problem, and you and your camera are needed to deal with the hauntings. Some islanders won’t stop dancing and saying ‘Rose,’ but you’ve got a revolver and a talking leg of meat, so you’ll be taking care of them. You need to learn a unique language and figure out how to reload a firearm while terrified in another experience. Some fleshy creatures don’t care for your face, so you’ll have to fight them off with some old time religion (and guns). The collection offers many more wild experiences like these, offering some interesting ideas in scary hunting trips.
Dread X Collection: The Hunt will take you to many strange, unsettling places, all while tying into the surreal narrative that brings all of the other collections together. And really, I’m always on board for any time I can fight ghosts by taking their pictures.
Dread X Collection: The Hunt will be made available today on Steam.
DISCOLSURE – Dread X Collectio: The Hunt has been made in connection with horror website Dread XP, a site which our Editor-in-Chief freelances for. This has in no way affected our decision to cover the title.
