TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight sees you landing your airship in a strangely-abandoned town. What will you find as you soar through it?
Well, your airship needs parts, and this eerie city seemed like a good place to find them. Trouble is, the place seems recently abandoned for no reason you can tell. Well, not ENTIRELY abandoned, as a race of cat-like folks seem to be hiding out here. Still, something’s definitely wrong judging from the encroaching fog and darkness. If you make the right friends among the cat people, maybe you’ll get some clues as to what happened and how you can fix it.
Fixing it means our heroine needs to do some death-defying leaps in Sanctuaries that lie on the edge of town. These hold items that you need called Sources of Earth, but that means doing some challenging platforming segments. You’re a nice person willing to help others, though, so try not to take a lethal tumble. If you’re not feeling so generous with your life, you can take some time to fly around town in your airship, taking in the impressive sights of this expansive city. It’s really something to behold, to the point where it might easily distract from what you should be doing.
TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight makes for some lovely sights as you fly around its city, all while also providing you with some challenging platforming segments if you want to bring the people back to this city. Although I kind of like it with the cat tribe.
TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight is available now on GOG and Steam.
