I Have Low Stats But My Class Is “Leader”, So I Recruited Everyone I Know To Fight The Dark Lord uses an entire town’s worth of people in every fight.
Josephine needs to face the dark Lord, but…she’s not good in a fight. That’s a big problem when you’re facing a powerful evil. However, she does seem to be a great people person, so instead, she just recruits everyone she knows. If she’s not tough enough to fight the Dark Lord, then maybe she’ll have a better chance with numbers on her side. Therefore, she gets everyone in the town to join her party, giving you ninety-nine characters to use in a fight. And you do indeed control all of them.
While the logistics of handling a party of this size are complex (the characters do all have stats and abilities, but thankfully you don’t have to worry about leveling them), this mechanic makes for some silly battles and moments in the game. I mean, there’s not many RPG villains who are expecting to fight an army all at once. Even just seeing them all lined up for a fight is pretty funny on its own. Not that you’re just fighting, as sometimes you’ll have to do some other things in combat. Like cutting hair. Again, not everyone is good at fighting.
I Have Low Stats But My Class Is “Leader”, So I Recruited Everyone I Know To Fight The Dark Lord is relentlessly goofy through its premise, combat, and storyline, making for a silly RPG experience that’s definitely worth spending some time with.
I Have Low Stats But My Class Is “Leader”, So I Recruited Everyone I Know To Fight The Dark Lord is available now on itch.io and Steam.
