Peasy has come back to his home village in Pest Whisperer, but he feels quite out of place in this world that seems to have grown and changed while he was gone.
Finding his place isn’t going to be easy, especially as he seems to have no way of directly communicating with those who are around him, but that doesn’t mean Peasy can’t be happy and helpful as he goes on his adventure. Many of the people in Pest Whisperer have various issues that need solving – from slugs on the mailbox to giant toads blocking the bridge. These animals are just living their lives, so nobody knows how to remove them or deal with them.
Peasy has a great mind when it comes to dealing with animals, he seems to always know what to do. You must figure it out, really, and find your way through helping the various village go-ers with their problems. The animals you are helping need to be happy too, or they will just end up going back to get in the way of your friends. This will mean you need to watch them, see what they are doing or what they like, and then make decisions based on that.
Pest Whisperer has so much character to the game itself. I really enjoyed the way Peasy walks, with such long legs and big feet, plonking around. I love the way his friends interact with him, being positive characters who are happy he is back and helping them. I got the chance to take a look at Pest Whisperer at EGX this year, and can’t wait to see where this quirky game goes.
Pest Whisperer is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can follow its creation on Instagram and Twitter.
