If you like cute pets, Murong Yi’s Celestial Pet Zone has you raising a little egg into a transformed pet before allowing them to be released in the wild!
Made for the Virtual Pet Jam, Murong Yi’s Celestial Pet Zone is a stunning game where you are given the responsibility of raising an egg until it hatches. Then, you need to care for a pet until it transforms. Once the pet is big enough, you will then release the pet into the Celestial Pet Zone to live the rest of their life in the wild.
There are three different pets in this game which then can transform into a bigger creature, giving you a few different animals to see and experience. But I am getting ahead of myself. After choosing what egg you want, you will then need to decide how to spend your time until the egg hatches. There are various items that you can use once the egg has hatched, so while the egg is still an egg, you can explore and find herbs, gather potions, or just rest for the days ahead.
Once the egg is hatched, you can spend each day doing one of the following: playing with your pet, feeding them herbs, giving them potions, or resting. Your pet will react to what you do, and you can try to do things that they enjoy instead of feeding them items they do not like. When your pet is ready to hatch, Murong comes over to watch it transform and tell you how you did. It’s quite fun seeing what they transform into, and then allowing them to go off into the rest of their world.
Though Murong Yi’s Celestial Pet Zone is a pretty simple game, the art work is really beautiful and the game itself just lasts a few minutes, offering a lovely break from hectic lives.
