Dread X Collection 5 sees delightful parties, fun rides, and amusing activities take some sinister turns in twelve different short horror experiences.
It seems like you can’t just have a good time in this universe without something spooky finding you. Can’t go to a birthday party at an alien-themed venue. Can’t go to the bathroom at a karaoke bar. Can’t even watch a puppet show in peace. Not that there isn’t something weird about a normal puppet show to begin with. THIS puppet show is even creepier than an average one after you fall asleep and find yourself wandering around backstage. I don’t think you’ll enjoy what you find.
You’ll experience these along with several other parties gone bad. You can’t even avoid a party location by sitting around and playing a game by yourself, as We Never Left sees you spending some time with a creepy text adventure. Lord help you if decide to just play the board game from Ludomalica all on your own one night, too. Whether you go party at some revived night club (that once saw a real bloodbath within its halls) or try to chill out by yourself, you’ll find some new horror lurking in the shadows. I mean, I totally get it, though. Even monsters and ghastly presences have to get bored by themselves, right? They’re just looking to have a good time, too. Although I guess they play a bit rough.
Dread X Collection 5 is an intriguing take at all sorts of ways that good times can go bad – how nights of fun can devolve into pure nightmare.
