Berry People walks through white fields and green forests to find the hidden hiding places of cheerful fruit. How will they react to you photographing them?
Lots of small, grinning berries are wandering and playing around the woods. They’re in all sorts of places, though, hiding behind signs, up hills, or dancing among the flowers under your feet. There’s a lot of them to find as you explore, which is a wonderful reward on top of the delightful places you’ll walk through. The striking colors and mixtures of plants and flowers make this place a joy to walk through whether you find any tiny creatures or not. It’s just a really pretty place that’s fun to get lost in, as its art style just makes it all pleasant to look at. The only thing missing is the smell of the outdoors.
Locating those berry people is very enjoyable, too. It feels like a treasure hunt to poke around for them all since you’ll find them doing all sorts of adorable things. Just seeing them playing is nice, but being able to take a photo of them is a lovely way to preserve your discovery. You’ll quickly fill up an album worth of pictures of the cute creatures, although it’ll take a bit of time if you want to find every single one of them. It’ll still only take an hour or two in total, but it makes for a charming evening looking around for them all or just enjoying the natural wonderland filled with pretty places and happy creatures within.
Berry People is a brief journey to a relentlessly cheerful, peaceful, wondrous place. It may only occupy you for an evening or so, but it will be an evening well-spent on fun, calming, discovery-filled walk.
Berry People is available now on itch.io and Steam.
