Find My Frogs is an adorable, simple hidden object game where you explore a world absolutely stuffed with hidden frogs.
I really do love hidden object games. They are the sort of games I like putting on my TV on a Saturday morning so that everyone in my front room can work together to solve some sort of easy puzzle. This time, we were looking for cute frogs. You start off in the room of a photography frog who is missing a bunch of items. These are specifically inside the rooms dotted around the map, but we will talk about that in a moment. The main bit of the game, just outside the room you start in, is massive. You can zoom in to see the little frogs, and there is a little guide on the side of the screen that lets you know how many frogs you need to find, how many frogs are hidden behind a second interaction, and how many special creatures you can find for fun.

Special creatures are things like worms, turtles, and bugs that can be hidden away – sometimes it’s also counting interactions like eating a cake and opening some jam. The frogs in Find My Frogs are often also hidden. You’ll have to look for the shape of their head on the water or just a foot poking out from behind something. It’s actually one of the more challenging hidden object games that I have played in that respect. I did like the hint feature which refreshed after a short amount of time.
Inside the houses in Find My Frogs, you can find even more frogs. These smaller, bite-sized rooms also have chests that have the hidden objects in them. You can go back to your main house and see what houses have been completed and what objects have been found, which is a nice touch.

When I played this game with my children, Robin and Amelia, they also liked how when you found a frog, they colored themselves in and often changed the way they appeared on the map, being more into whatever activity they were at, which added to the cuteness! Find My Frogs is just a fun, adorable game of hidden objects.
Find My Frogs is available now on Steam.
