Wander in Wonder is a curious and captivating puzzle game where a little bunny tries to find their way back to their tree burrow.
When I played this game at BCN Game Fest, the person who played in front of me announced “this feels like playing a game for the first time.” and after I had played, I couldn’t agree more.

This adventure game doesn’t have traditional highlights to show you where to click or what to do. Instead, you need to spend some time playing around with each scene, having your rabbit walk up to things and see what happens. It’s cute and imaginative, with some strange happenings like mushrooms growing or leaves starting to appear.
Wander in Wonder is a fantastic little game – a short experience that intrigued me as I tried desperately to get to the next stage of the game. You are making your way through areas of this small world, getting closer and closer to your home. There is a real feel of imagination, and it’s like playing a game made by someone who has never played a game. It might feel more like a puzzle toy, almost, as you try to interact with it.

Instead of giving the player rigid goals or specific puzzles to solve, you’re challenged to just play around and have fun with each screen. With a bit of patience, you will find that often the answer is easier than you would have thought. I got the chance to play through the entire game, which is on the short side, and was excited to be immersed in this striking little world filled with charming surprises.
Wander in Wonder is currently in development and is projected to release towards the end of 2026. In the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
