Ghost Haunting is an adventure game about a young girl whose grandmother has been trapped in the realm of the dead.
You are a young 8-year old child currently visiting your grandfather. He cannot really handle you (or children in general from the sounds of things) as you are strong-willed with a lot of play left in you. Playing as Gigi, you will be checking out strange areas, listening to your grandfather’s phone conversations without you, and discovering an entire alternative realm that your grandmother is trapped in.

Your grandfather, as it turns out, is a spectral hunter who has been hunting ghosts for sport in your world. If ghosts can end up going into your world to the point where an old man’s hobby is hunting them, then surely you can rescue people who have died and bring them back to your own world as well, right? At least that’s what you are going to try to do.
Ghost Haunting feels very 90s adventure game-inspired. It’s not straight forward, there are a lot of objects that you can interact with and move about, and there are a lot of funny bits of story and lines that you can have your little girl say. I played a demo at AdventureX where everyone was talking about the fantastic visuals and the level of polish this game had. Clearly fans of the genre are already interested in the game as well!

I personally fell in love with the strong-willed, slightly unruly child who is clearly wrapped around her old, rich grandfather’s finger. She’s fantastic and I was interested in seeing the world her way, bringing back her grandmother, and meeting up with well-written characters full of their own unique personalities as well.
Ghost Haunting is currently in development, but in the meantime, you can add it to your Steam Wishlist.
