THE DEVIL HAUNTS ME will have you gathering food, water, and supplies, all while dodging an unsettling presence and steadily uncovering the horrors of the world.
THE DEVIL HAUNTS ME mixes elements of survival games and horror games, having you work to grab all the wood, meat, and water you can find as you wander through a haunted wood. Your trips to find supplies will often turn up other, more disturbing elements that you may wish to avoid if you want to survive. Then again, following these may also be your best chance of escape.
THE DEVIL HAUNTS ME‘s open world hides more than just useful goodies. As you explore certain places, you’ll find pieces of the world’s history (told through the environment and things you find), or you may also unlock upgrades that will help keep you going.
You’ll often find dangerous spirits and eerie beings, though, and while these also add to the story, they’ll also kind of kill you. So maybe let them be as best you can. Don’t let me tell you what to do with your life, though.
