The Bad Dream series has a new addition with Bad Dream: Fever – another creepy point and click adventure game that takes you into a dying world (and we have copies to give away!).
In this standalone episode, you start off in a room with little explanation as to what is going on. Once you start to explore and look around, you will find that this isn’t even your house. The girl that does live here seems to think that you are the only people left.
The world you both lived in has been infected by a strange ink. This ink fills bodies, killing its host and leaving them dripping and rotting. You must avoid the ink at all cost, although clicking on ink will cause the screen to change, showing a more contaminated version of what you see for a very limited time. You need to avoid the ink or risk getting infected.
The girl you are helping – a nameless creature with a bird-like mask – is looking to find a cure for the illness. She doesn’t want to risk her own life for this and instead needs you to go outside her workshop and find the items she needs. She isn’t going to leave you on your own, however; with some modern technology, she is able to see what you are doing and talk to you.
You are on a quest to find a cure by gathering items and touching recently-killed bodies in Bad Dream: Fever. The cool thing about exploring with this other girl is her interactions. Often, you can click on items that aren’t helpful yet or items that are just curious, and you can hear her opinions and thoughts on it. She talks about not liking clowns or about people believing in strange myths. This person makes the world full of death and decay seem less scary and less lonely.
You, on the other hand, don’t talk much – even as a strange… creature thing starts to appear… Instead of telling your partner in crime, you keep quiet, focusing on the tasks at hand. Hopefully, you will be able to save the world. Otherwise, you’ll have an interesting adventure with a curious person who’s determined to help out.
The Bad Dream series is wonderful when it comes to creating strange point and click adventures in worlds that seem so full of sorrow and sadness.Bad Dream: Fever is a wonderful addition to the world.

Nice idea to explore such a scary world with someone giving you some kind of guidance. Reminds me of Soma, and Fran Bow when it comes to seeing things for a short moment. And I love Point & Click adventures.
