Metric, imperial, or potassium-infused fruit? What would your preferred method of measurement be in a perfect world?
Banana for Scale poses a unique challenge of measuring objects with only bananas in this silly VR experience.
Your task is simple: determine how tall an object is in bananas. You’ll have all the tools you need in the form of a banana dispensing machine. Simply measure the height by stacking your bananas and voila, you’ll have your banana-centric-measurement. Once you’ve got your number down, rush to your tube to put in your estimation and it will determine if you’ve succeeded or failed in your high-level analysis.
To give you an edge in your analysis, you’ll be able to find special bananas with their own abilities, like granting super speed. Time will also play a factor in how you rank in the leaderboards, so if you’re competitive, you’ll want to get familiar with each banana.
If you want to put your skills to the test against the computer, you can try a multiplayer mode. The special bananas take on different traits in this mode which will help to hinder your opponent’s speed. You want to have the most accurate reading as fast as possible, after all. You won’t be able to claim your banana-measuring-glory if the computer player wipes the floor with you. Have no fear if you need more practice, though, as there is a training mode as well that can ease you into your new method of measurement.
Who doesn’t want to spend an evening measuring things with bananas?
Banana for Scale is available now on Steam.
