Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery guides an artist in the creation of their works, having you sketch and paint as its story unfolds.
You’ll spend some time with an aspiring artist (seems a bit better than ‘aspiring’ to me) as she works to finish the final piece for her gallery submission. She could use a hand choosing the colors and finishing touches of her work, so you’ll be guiding her hand in wrapping up a handful of works. It’s not as simple as that (not that completing a piece of art is ever simple), as there will be interruptions from your neighbor, a lost cat, and some other things in life along the way.
Art doesn’t happen in a vacuum, though, does it? Nor does it work that way, here. All of these interruptions will drum up memories or provide inspiration for our artist, adding to the colors and scope of the works. what might seem like an annoying inconvenience may lead you to something new you can bring to your work. Luckily, that work is made a lot easier for those of us with little artistic skill, so don’t feel like you need to be able to handle a brush to get the most out of this game. It’s designed to make art approachable no matter your comfort level, so simply let the inspirations wash over you and start painting.
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery looks quite lovely, and will help you create your own striking artwork as you play through its story.
