The Bundle for Ukraine has so many games (over nine hundred!), so we hand-selected a few for you to dive into once you have purchased this great package.
When it comes to bundles for a good cause, the games industry has often come together to create something amazing. The Bundle for Ukraine is an itch.io bundle of almost 1,000 varied projects, featuring RPGs and Books and digital toys and more, that has been brought together by over 700 content creators. The minimum price for this bundle is $10, which is a bargain for the number of games that have been featured in this bundle, which retail for over $6,500!
The proceeds from this bundle are split 50/50 between the International Medical Corps (who is currently providing medical assistance in the region) and Voices of Children (who help children cope with war). With so many different games to look at in the bundle, we have selected a few to get you started with.
SkateBIRD
“SkateBIRD does some delightful things with making a skate park for a bird-sized skater, as well as with the neat things a bird could do that a human skateboarder couldn’t. It’s just ridiculously charming, and with its character and perspective, makes for a compelling, unique skateboarding game well worth checking out.”

Cloud Gardens
“I really enjoy seeing how nature reclaims places that humans have abandoned. Watching how the leaves, mosses, and mushrooms come creeping back in to the breaks and cracks of our fallen buildings. This game captures that same sense of awe and beauty that comes with seeing a place that nature has returned to, as you’ll be placing plants and objects to create a thriving ecosystem. As your plant choices take hold, you’ll see them steadily grow over the structures, creating these striking landscapes.”

Kingdom Two Crowns
“In Kingdom Two Crowns, your goal is to build a kingdom that will stand the test of your enemies’ onslaught. You will have to choose how to upgrade, as well as develop strategies against your enemies to ensure you have the strongest defenses and the swiftest offense. This may be accomplished by recruiting the right units or developing the right technology, but one thing is for sure – you can’t brute force your way to victory, so always try to have several strategies on the go.”

Wandersong
“What good is the planet if everyone’s mopey? As you explore the game’s colorful lands, you can meet all kinds of people who could use a helping hand or a bit of cheering up. Your singing voice is the key to making these folks happy, as you can use it to interact with everything in the world, affecting change to make things better. Whatever someone may need help with, you can fix it with the power of your voice.”

Dumpy & Bumpy
“The game aims to offer all kinds of different puzzle experiences. In some stages, you’re pushing blocks around to get them lined up with the right symbols on the floor. In another, you’ll be tossing explosives around to blow things up in just the right way to clear your path. For some stages, you could be fiddling with warps or trying to smack bosses around. Sometimes, you might just end up playing a round of golf. The game does a lot of stuff with its pushing and grabbing mechanics, so expect to keep this colorful pair busy doing different things.”

A Short Hike
“You’re not purely working with natural distractions. This park is filled with different people you can meet and have a quick talk with. Some of them have their own issues they wouldn’t mind sharing with a stranger, and maybe helping them out might soothe your own mind. Or they might help guide you to some of the hidden treasures that are lying around the park awaiting discovery.”

Bury Me, My Love
“Bury Me, My Love was designed with a great deal of research into capturing an immigrant’s journey to find safety. “The original idea stems from an article written by Le Monde.fr journalist Lucie Soullier that tells the story of Dana, a young Syrian woman who fled her country and is now living in Germany,” according to its press release. The developers consulted with Dana and Soullier on the project in order to make this work that much more true and evocative. And they utterly succeeded.”

Death and Taxes
“Death and Taxes has some unsettling things to say about how we act in the performance of our duties in the pursuit of personal wealth, and some rather nice things to say about how some might be surprised at how important they are in the world. Lots of thoughtful messages all around for a lighthearted game about being an office-working grim reaper, honestly.”

Shutter Stroll
“When you have explored the entire island or just want to see something new, you can hop back into your boat and either put in coordinates or you can just go to another random place. One of my islands had pink trees that were round like lollipops with a massive sun setting near it. In the current real world, we can’t really travel far, and I miss traveling to somewhere completely new. The game does help that need a bit, as it does feel like a lovely exploration.”

ART SQOOL
“Art Sqool offers many different brushes and pencils (and mops, because why not?), really encouraging you to explore yourself in your surroundings. It’s a delightful experience in enjoying creation – a soothing moment within your own wandering mind.”

There are tons and tons of other games within the Bundle for Ukraine; this just scratches on the surface of the games and projects there. With so many games to choose from to support such a good cause, it is amazing to see so many game developers, publishers, and creators put their work into this bundle.
