In 重明鸟 Bright Bird, there’s a crisis in the air, and a pair of crafty heroes need to solve the mysteries of their world to call upon a legendary bird to help.
You get your choice of hero in Yao and Xuan, taking them across a stunning countryside as you look for that errant magical fowl. Someone has up and made that walk very puzzling, though, adding all kinds of strange mechanisms and complicated environments for you to work your way through. Although I supposed if you could just walk up to the bird, you wouldn’t need heroes to do it.
Those heroes aren’t exactly going to be enough, though, but you can call upon a variety of neighbors and friends you meet along the way to help you. They each have their own quirky personalities and are supposed to help you with your puzzle-solving, but you’ll still be doing most of the work. It’s nice to have a bit of moral support while you’re at it.
Even if they aren’t always much help, at least you can take a minute to soak in the game’s gorgeous scenery while you’re having trouble with something. 重明鸟 Bright Bird looks lovely in motion, taking you to some beautiful places as you work to help keep the air free of smog. I really don’t want to think about what a cloud of pollution would do to such a delightful place, so we’d better get to dealing with this smog problem in a hurry.
